My Wife's got a Galaxy Note 2. Recently She has added a couple apps for work, and it appears they're draining Her battery. I've just bought Her an external USB battery to fill up during the day. But is there a place in Settings or somewhere, where She can go see the percentage used by applications?
She found one, but it really didn't communicate the type of information I would have expected. One of Her apps is the Lotus Traveler, which I imagine must be doing some kind of Push or Fetch -- hopefully Push -- but I think that one is suspect. It's for Her work emails and such.
Anyhow, any help on how to get this info, preferably from within the device without having to install a bunch of 3rd party widgets or root, would be helpful.
Thanks,
Leo
I don't know of any off the top of my head, but that's the name of the game in Android. Install a 3rd party this or that. I'm afraid if such a utility exists, you may have to find it there. But I'm not exactly fluent in the world of Android, so hopefully someone with a greater knowledge of the OS can give you more useful info. Good luck, sir.
A question.
Suppose you could tell the battery useage.
You still need, or want the app right?
Were is the usefulness in knowing?
It is much like lights.
You know a light burns X watts, but you need to read and it's dark.
Seems a better solution to this problem is a battery charger, or a battery case for your phone so when you need extra power, you have it at hand.
But, I am honestly interested in the answer to my question.
Smile.
So it doesn't refresh or push during the night.
Shut it down completely when not in use.
They've really got some slick battery cases for phones now.
The extra size is not really noticeable, plus you get some drop protection.
Slide the phone iin the case and when you need extra power, press the switch and get charged back to 100%.
I mean the apps, not the phone.
If she doesn't know how, simply turn the phone off at the end of the work day, and turn it back on.
Now only the things she taps will run.
